At Townhouse, we have many different events running throughout the month. Some are still in their infancy, some are well established. I get many messages asking me about the different events and what they are all about, what happens, who goes, what to expect. Well here is a brief synopsis for each event to help you along.
Radical Desire – established since 2005. Runs each 1st and 3rd Friday of the month. Attracts from 70-125 people at each event, the first event of the month tends to be a little busier. Suitable for new and experiences players. Greeting available for newbies if needed. Themed nights, demos, local crafters, roleplay. A very social event and an excellent ice breaker for new people on the scene. No need to book a place to attend, just turn up with your membership card or ID if you are new.
Drastic Fantastic – Established since 2012. Runs approx. 3-4 times per year on a Sunday from 5pm until midnight. This is a hardcore BDSM event for more experienced players or those who prefer an old school approach to BDSM. We limit the numbers of people attending to keep noise and distraction to a minimum so booking a place on our guestlist is necessary. There are no limits on this night between consenting players. Guests are asked to follow etiquette on the night and if unsure, just ask! :-)
50 Shades of Grey Event – Established since 2012. Attracts between 45-60 people. Runs every 2 months on a Friday or Saturday night. This is an opportunity for our swinging members to see how the BDSM scene really works. The swinging members who attend are curious yet tentative and need gentle encouragement to explore their kink safely. We ask for help from our Fetish members on the night by doing demos for us and be available for questions and guidance. Guests need to be aware that this is a mixed event, not a purely fetish event, so swinging may take place. However nobody is expected to take part in either BDSM or Swinging if they do not want to.
TGirls Tea Party – Established in 2012. Runs on the 4th Thursday of every month from 6pm to 1.30am. This event started off slowly but we are now delighted to say that it is becoming a busy event with a mix of TGirls and admirers. We are a VERY Tgirl friendly club and although we have this dedicated event for TGirls, we tend to find that our girls attend on most nights now. This event is open to all TGirls/TV/CD and male/female/couple admirers.
Fetish Life Drawing Classes – This is a brand new event which ran for the first time in June 2014. The classes are open to artists of every level from complete beginner right up to the working artist. You will not find a life drawing class like this anywhere else in our area, as you will have the opportunity to draw male and female models, placed in restraint/bondage positions. You are not tested or scrutinised, the idea is that you relax and let your creative juices flow! We have easels and boards for you to use if you wish and we can supply basic materials, although we advise that you bring your own for familiarity.
‘Littles’ Parties – This is a brand new event which ran for the first time in Dec 2013 and again around Easter 2014. We plan to run ‘littles’ parties 3 times a year and we envisage that this will become a popular event amongst age players as we already have some great support from key figures on the scene.
Fetish Photography Event – This has been established since early 2013 and runs approx. every 3 months on a Saturday afternoon from 1.30pm until 6pm. We restrict the number of people at this event so there is enough room for people to spread out, bring in lots of equipment if they wish and explore all of the nooks and crannies of the club with their camera! This is open to amateur and professional togs (photographers) and professional as well as novice fetish models. Togs do not need to bring models as we usually get enough models to be your muse! When you see the event listed, you need to book your place pretty quickly to get on our guestlist.
Liverpool and Merseyside Peer Rope Group – This has been established since early 2013 and runs every 2 months on the first Saturday afternoon. This has always been a very popular event for all who love rope! Every event gets busier and we welcomed 50 people to the 1st birthday event. This is open to complete novices as well as experienced players and workshops are held in different parts of the building for each skill level. A very enjoyable day with a lovely bunch of people.
